- The 4 tier cat tree arrived completely assembled. Very solid - attractive. My cats love it. They use it every day. The sisal post was my main attraction. Great product! I have recommended it to all my friends.

- We're a multi-generation and multi-cat home and have a lot of experience with cat trees. This perch is very sturdy and well constructed. I wish the carpet were a little better quality (denser and softer). But I think the carpet will be durable enough as my cats don't scratch their trees. The round beds are not deep - just a bit over 2 inches - the shallowest of all the perches we have. But there is enough "edge" to keep the cats from rolling off, just not enough to "hide". My 3-legged cat can get up and down easily, and the perch locations are very good. Overall, it's a very good quality perch for $250.
Packaging was poor. The box is thin and didn't hold up to shipping. The top half of the perch went unprotected and two of the beds had large black stains on them as if they had rubbed up against a new car tire for a while. I was able to remove the stains with carpet stain remover. If the manufacturer is reading this - wrapping the perch in plastic before boxing, or using a thicker box would be an improvement.
Shipping was confusing. The package tracking status said the shipper (CEVA) contacted me and was waiting for my action. But they hadn't contacted me. There's no shipper phone number to call, so I was left wondering. Two days later I received a phone call to arrange shipping. Once scheduled, the delivery was prompt.
- I'd read some bad reviews about the condition this cat tree arrived in so I was a little worried. We just purchased new leather couches and our previous couches were old and raggedy so we didn't mind our cat using them as a scratching post. But, obviously we wanted to keep the new ones in good condition, so we opted to get a large, solid structure for our cat to play on and use for nail scratching.
Our cat loves this thing! It took her a few days to get used to climbing all the way to the top, but she spends most of her day on it sleeping. For some reason she doesn't use the posts for scratching, but instead the inside of the platforms...whatever works!
The packaging was a little sketchy when it arrived. 2 boxes, One on the bottom and one over the top, like a cap. Then tapped together. I was concerned about breakage as I was unveiling the unit since there was no filler or support to hold the boxes stable during shipping. But alas, it came out in perfect condition and we are pleased with the purchase.
It is a good price for the quality, as similar and smaller trees go for more money at the local pet stores here in NY.
